Managing OData Endpoints

Endpoints Page

The Endpoints page displays the list of the OData endpoints and allows to manage them in a convenient and easy-to-use interface.

To open the Endpoints page when you are viewing some other page, click Connect in the menu on the left side of the page.

Sorting and Filtering Endpoints

Endpoint list can be sorted by any column. To sort packages just click the column header to sort packages by. Click it again to change the sort order.

To quickly find an endpoint, you can filter the endpoint list. For this enter a part of an endpoint name to the search box above the grid. Only the endpoints, containing the entered string in their names will be displayed.

Managing Endpoints

To open an endpoint for editing, click the Edit button for the corresponding endpoint.

Click the endpoint name to open the Endpoint Details page, click Actions, and then click Edit.
To deactivate/activate an endpoint, click the On/Off button in the Active column.
Click the endpoint name to open the Endpoint Details page, click the Actions button on this page, then click Delete.

Draft Endpoints

Skyvia currently allows saving not valid, draft endpoints. For example, you can save an empty endpoint with no entities added to it. Such endpoint is inactive, and is marked as draft. Draft endpoints cannot be activated.

Later you can edit this endpoint and add one or more entities to it. After this, endpoint can be activated.

Endpoint Information

The Endpoints page displays the following information about all your endpoints:

Column name


Endpoint name

Displays the name of an endpoint and its auto-generated token. Since every endpoint has unique auto-generated token, you can have multiple endpoints with the same name.


The connection, data of which the endpoint exposes.


Displays a simple chart of the recent endpoint activity (the numbers of requests to endpoint for each of the past 12 hours).


Displays the number of user accounts, created for an endpoint. Displays "PUBLIC" if there are no user accounts created for the endpoint.

IP Addresses

Displays the number of IP address ranges, for which access to an endpoint is allowed. Displays "ANY" if there are no IP address ranges specified for the endpoint.


Displays whether endpoint is enabled and allows you to activate/deactivate the endpoint by clicking ON or OFF.


Clicking the Edit button opens the corresponding endpoint for editing.

Endpoint Details Page

To get more detailed information about an endpoint, click its name in the Name column on the Endpoints page. This opens the Endpoint Details page, which displays basic endpoint data access log, endpoint URL, the numbers of user accounts for endpoint, and the number of IP ranges, from which the endpoint data can be accessed. On this page you can open the endpoint for editing, delete it, or switch to the more detailed activity log.
