ExpandedToggleIcon        Fields with string data

Fields with string data support two kinds of filters: list filter and value filters.

Value Filters

In addition to the list filter, Skyvia Query allows using usual value filters for string fields. To configure such filter, click Value in the Details pane, select Filter from the list, and specify a value, if necessary, to use in the filter. The following filters are available for fields with string data:

equal to
not equal to
contains
does not contain
starts with
does not start with
is null
is not null

Please note that you should not quote the string value for the filter.

List Filter

The list filter displays a list of values this field has in the data source, and you can select some of these values. To switch to the list filter, click List in the Details pane.

The list filter can be especially useful when the field can have a limited set of values, and you need to get or exclude records with some of these values. To get such records select check boxes for the values you want to retrieve records with. To exclude such records, select the corresponding check boxes and click is in list above the list, and then click is not in list.

If there are too many distinct values for this field in the data source (more than 10), only the first 10 of them are displayed, followed by the Load more link. This link allows you to load the next portion of values.

To select all the values in the list, click the check box above the list.

To quickly find a value in a list, start typing the value in the Search box. The list will display only the values, containing the typed string.

Additionally you can switch to the single mode, which allows selecting only one value in the list. For this click multi mode and then click single mode.
