Export and import Salesforce data with Skyvia — the best in class Salesforce data loader!
Skyvia is a powerful Salesforce integration and data loading solution that offers a number of advantages over other Salesforce data loaders. With Skyvia you will be able to import CSV files either manually uploaded to Skyvia or stored on FTP or cloud file storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Box and automate Salesforce data export.
Unlike Apex Data Loader, Skyvia is a 100% thin-client platform, which needs minimal configuration and only a web browser to be accessed from anywhere.
Learn more about IntegrationSkyvia allows you to configure your data loading operations in convenient and user-friendly GUI wizards. It also allows importing and exporting Salesforce data without typing a line of code.
After you have configured your integration operation (package) once, it is saved and available to you until you delete it. You can always rerun or edit it, or create a new package based on an old one.
You may schedule any data loading operation for automatic execution. Skyvia's powerful and easy-to-understand scheduling settings allow you to quickly specify almost any kind of schedule. Since Skyvia is a cloud solution, you don't need to leave your computer on or configure a server for this.
Skyvia logs all operation executions in a detailed log automatically. You can always see the number of successfully loaded records and the number of errors, if any, for each run, and download detailed per-record CSV error logs.
Skyvia supports OAuth, which means you do not need to acquire a Salesforce security token or store you Salesforce credentials in Skyvia.
Moreover, OAuth is supported for signing in to Skyvia itself, and you are not required even to register on Skyvia. Instead you may sign in with your Salesforce or Google Drive account. Sign in with your Salesforce account and start data loading quickly!
Our Salesforce data import tool supports loading data from CSV files both manually uploaded and placed to different file storages. Skyvia offers the following features for import:
Skyvia allows not only column-to-column mapping but also lookups, constants, and mathematical and string expressions that can save your time when preparing your data to import.
Unlike Apex Data Loader, our online data loader for Salesforce does not require you to provide IDs for parent objects or owners. You can use their names or any other identifying field instead with Skyvia’s lookup mapping function. If a target object has an External Id field, you can use this field too with Skyvia's external ID mapping.
Skyvia's expression mapping allows performing various transformations on data: combining two source columns to a single target field or vice versa, performing mathematical calculations, etc.
When importing several CSV files with related data together, for example, such as Accounts and Contacts, Skyvia allows you to easily build corresponding relations in target data. For this Skyvia offers the relation mapping that allows you to specify a foreign key relation between the source files. The corresponding target relation is built automatically. You don’t need to import accounts first, then get and add their IDs to the contacts file — Skyvia does all this for you.
You can also use other kinds of mapping to specify the parent IDs — external ID mapping or Lookup. In this case you need to make sure that parent objects are imported before child ones.
Skyvia supports all the Salesforce DML operations: INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and UPSERT.
Skyvia can bulk upload data from one CSV file to several related Salesforce objects at once.
Skyvia can upload data to Salesforce from several CSV files to Salesforce as one operation.
Our Salesforce data export tool can extract data from Salesforce to CSV files to use them in Excel or other tools. These CSV files can be either downloaded immediately or saved to Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Azure File Storage or an FTP server.
Skyvia can load data from several Salesforce objects to CSV files as one operation.
Skyvia offers powerful filtering settings that allow you to export only the data you need.
You can export data from a Salesforce object and add fields from its related objects to export.
