This integration selects new QuickBooks Online customers and imports them into Timely as users.

Note: It does not import pre-existing QuickBooks Online customers into Timely users.

Note: The Name field in Timely accepts alphabet characters only. Using other symbols will cause an error.

Note: Each user email address in Timely must be unique per account. QuickBooks Online allows multiple customers to have identical email addresses. Importing these duplicate email addresses into Timely will result in an integration error.

How to Set Up

  1. Select or create connections: QuickBooks Online connection for Source and Timely connection for Target.
  2. Provide the necessary information for the integration execution:
    1. Open the import task.
    2. In Mapping Definition of your import task, for the AccountId field, replace 12345 with your Timely account ID.
    3. Save the task.
  3. Specify the schedule on which the integration will run automatically.

  • To create Timely users from specific new QuickBooks Online customers, configure filters in the task editor.
