Copying Freshdesk data to Amazon RDS cannot be simpler. You just need to perform the following three simple steps.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Freshdesk.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Amazon RDS.
Skyvia supports secure connections to Amazon RDS.
Select Freshdesk objects to replicate.
Just select check boxes in a list of Freshdesk objects (e.g. Tickets, Contacts, Companies, etc.). If necessary, you can tweak it in more details - replicate only part of Freshdesk fields and filter data to replicate.
You don't need to prepare the Amazon RDS database - Skyvia creates the tables corresponding to the Freshdesk objects - Tickets, Contacts, Companies, etc. - automatically.
Skyvia can more than just create a copy of the Freshdesk data in Amazon RDS - it can keep this copy in an up-to-date state automatically. All you need is to configure a schedule when to update the Amazon RDS replica database.
When updating the data copy in the Amazon RDS database, Skyvia does not perform full data copying each time. It retrieves only updated data from Freshdesk and writes only necessary updates to the Amazon RDS database.
With Skyvia you can copy all the data from a Freshdesk object or disable replication for some Freshdesk object fields. You can also configure filters for data to replicate.
If you need more than just to copy data from Freshdesk to Amazon RDS, you may use Skyvia's powerful data import functionality. Skyvia's data import tools will correctly extract Freshdesk data, transform it, and load to Amazon RDS when Amazon RDS tables have different structure than Freshdesk objects.
