Copying OData data to Azure PostgreSQL cannot be simpler. You just need to perform the following three simple steps.
Specify necessary connection parameters for OData.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Azure PostgreSQL.
Skyvia supports secure connections to Azure PostgreSQL.
Select OData objects to replicate.
Just select check boxes in a list of OData objects (e.g. entities). If necessary, you can tweak it in more details - replicate only part of OData fields and filter data to replicate.
You don't need to prepare the Azure PostgreSQL database - Skyvia creates the tables corresponding to the OData objects - entities - automatically.
Skyvia can more than just create a copy of the OData data in Azure PostgreSQL - it can keep this copy in an up-to-date state automatically. All you need is to configure a schedule when to update the Azure PostgreSQL replica database.
With Skyvia you can copy all the data from a OData object or disable replication for some OData object fields. You can also configure filters for data to replicate.
If you need more than just to copy data from OData to Azure PostgreSQL, you may use Skyvia's powerful data import functionality. Skyvia's data import tools will correctly extract OData data, transform it, and load to Azure PostgreSQL when Azure PostgreSQL tables have different structure than OData objects.
