Copying Pipedrive data to Heroku Postgres cannot be simpler. You just need to perform the following three simple steps.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Pipedrive.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Heroku Postgres.
Skyvia supports secure connections to Heroku Postgres.
Select Pipedrive objects to replicate.
Just select check boxes in a list of Pipedrive objects (e.g. Organizations, Deals, Persons, etc.). If necessary, you can tweak it in more details - replicate only part of Pipedrive fields and filter data to replicate.
You don't need to prepare the Heroku Postgres database - Skyvia creates the tables corresponding to the Pipedrive objects - Organizations, Deals, Persons, etc. - automatically.
Skyvia can more than just create a copy of the Pipedrive data in Heroku Postgres - it can keep this copy in an up-to-date state automatically. All you need is to configure a schedule when to update the Heroku Postgres replica database.
When updating the data copy in the Heroku Postgres database, Skyvia does not perform full data copying each time. It retrieves only updated data from Pipedrive and writes only necessary updates to the Heroku Postgres database.
With Skyvia you can copy all the data from a Pipedrive object or disable replication for some Pipedrive object fields. You can also configure filters for data to replicate.
If you need more than just to copy data from Pipedrive to Heroku Postgres, you may use Skyvia's powerful data import functionality. Skyvia's data import tools will correctly extract Pipedrive data, transform it, and load to Heroku Postgres when Heroku Postgres tables have different structure than Pipedrive objects.
