Copying ShipStation data to Azure PostgreSQL cannot be simpler. You just need to perform the following three simple steps.
Specify necessary connection parameters for ShipStation.
Specify necessary connection parameters for Azure PostgreSQL.
Skyvia supports secure connections to Azure PostgreSQL.
Select ShipStation objects to replicate.
Just select check boxes in a list of ShipStation objects (e.g. customers, orders, products, etc.). If necessary, you can tweak it in more details - replicate only part of ShipStation fields and filter data to replicate.
You don't need to prepare the Azure PostgreSQL database - Skyvia creates the tables corresponding to the ShipStation objects - customers, orders, products, etc. - automatically.
Skyvia can more than just create a copy of the ShipStation data in Azure PostgreSQL - it can keep this copy in an up-to-date state automatically. All you need is to configure a schedule when to update the Azure PostgreSQL replica database.
When updating the data copy in the Azure PostgreSQL database, Skyvia does not perform full data copying each time. It retrieves only updated data from ShipStation and writes only necessary updates to the Azure PostgreSQL database.
With Skyvia you can copy all the data from a ShipStation object or disable replication for some ShipStation object fields. You can also configure filters for data to replicate.
If you need more than just to copy data from ShipStation to Azure PostgreSQL, you may use Skyvia's powerful data import functionality. Skyvia's data import tools will correctly extract ShipStation data, transform it, and load to Azure PostgreSQL when Azure PostgreSQL tables have different structure than ShipStation objects.
