Synchronize Dynamics 365 and Salesforce data

Use this integration if you need to synchronize Dynamics 365 and Salesforce data.

How to Set Up

1. Select or create connections: Dynamics 365 connection and Salesforce connection.

2. Specify the schedule on which the integration will run automatically.

Notes

• During the first run, the integration does not check whether records already exist in both systems. All records are copied between systems and mapped. If similar data already exists in Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, duplicate records may be created.

• During subsequent runs, the integration synchronizes changes based on mappings established during the first run. If a record is updated or deleted in one system, the corresponding record in the other system is updated or deleted accordingly.

• When a record is modified both in source and target, Skyvia will apply source changes to the target, and lose all target changes. They are lost even when different fields were changed in the source and target. Skyvia does not track changes on a per-field level.

Tips

• We recommended to prepare and clean data in both systems before the first synchronization run to avoid creating duplicates.

• If you do not need to synchronize all objects, you can remove unnecessary tasks. To do this, point to the task and click Remove. Please consider the relations between the tasks (tasks may contain relation mapping involving objects from other tasks). Fix the mapping if you remove their "parent" tasks.
