This integration synchronizes data between SugarAI and Salesforce.
Prerequisites
- The Case < Cases task assumes that Salesforce cases are associated with accounts. If a case has no AccountId value, the record can't be imported. Make sure that Salesforce cases have valid account associations before running the integration.
How to Set Up
Select or create connections: SugarAI connection and Salesforce connection.
Configure mapping:
- Open the task and find the mapping from SugarAI’s sales_stage field to Salesforce’s StageName field.
- Replace Enter your default stage name... with a valid stage name from your Salesforce organization.
- Save the task.
Specify the schedule to run integration automatically.
Notes
During the first run, the integration does not check whether records already exist in both systems. If similar data already exists in SugarAI and Salesforce, duplicate records may be created.
If a record is updated or deleted in one system, the corresponding record in the other system is also updated or deleted.
When a record is modified both in source and target, Skyvia applies source changes to the target. All target changes are discarded, even when different fields were changed.
Tips
Prepare and clean data in both systems before the first synchronization run to avoid creating duplicates.
If you do not need to synchronize all objects, remove unnecessary tasks. Before removing a task, check whether other tasks depend on it through relation mapping.
