Copying MailChimp data to SQL Server cannot be simpler. You just need to perform the following three simple steps.
Specify necessary connection parameters for MailChimp.
Specify necessary connection parameters for SQL Server.
Skyvia supports secure connections to SQL Server.
Select MailChimp objects to replicate.
Just select check boxes in a list of MailChimp objects (e.g. Subscribers, Campaigns, Lists, etc.). If necessary, you can tweak it in more details - replicate only part of MailChimp fields and filter data to replicate.
You don't need to prepare the SQL Server database - Skyvia creates the tables corresponding to the MailChimp objects - Subscribers, Campaigns, Lists, etc. - automatically.
Skyvia can more than just create a copy of the MailChimp data in SQL Server - it can keep this copy in an up-to-date state automatically. All you need is to configure a schedule when to update the SQL Server replica database.
When updating the data copy in the SQL Server database, Skyvia does not perform full data copying each time. It retrieves only updated data from MailChimp and writes only necessary updates to the SQL Server database.
With Skyvia you can copy all the data from a MailChimp object or disable replication for some MailChimp object fields. You can also configure filters for data to replicate.
If you need more than just to copy data from MailChimp to SQL Server, you may use Skyvia's powerful data import functionality. Skyvia's data import tools will correctly extract MailChimp data, transform it, and load to SQL Server when SQL Server tables have different structure than MailChimp objects.
