Note: It does not import pre-existing Jira issues to Zendesk tickets.
Requirements
Jira connection must have specific settings:
- Environment must be set to Cloud;
- API Version must be set to Ver2.
How to Set Up
- Select or create connections: Jira connection for Source and Zendesk connection for Target.
- Provide the necessary information for the integration execution:
- Open the import task
- On the Source Definition of your import task, in filters, specify the name of your Jira project from which to query issues instead of Enter your Project name....
- On the Mapping Definition of your import task, for the RequesterId field, specify the email of Zendesk user who will own the ticket instead of Enter Zendesk administrator's/agent's email....
- Save the task.
- Specify the schedule on which the integration will run automatically.
Tips
- To create or update Zendesk tickets from specific new Jira issues, configure filters in the task editor.
- You can also add more similar filters with different project names and use OR operator to import Jira issues from multiple projects. You can also remove filters if you want to import Jira issues from all your Jira projects.
